The smartwatch market saw a 13% increase in shipments between January-March 2022, according to Counterpoint Research.<\/p>\n

Analysing the global handset market, it found that Apple, Samsung and Xiaomi recorded year-on-year growth despite a 24% quarterly decline.<\/p>\n

Associate Director Sujeong Lim said that brand loyalty is Apple's main success factor. The tech giant increased its overall share as well as its shipments annually by 14%. Users in major markets are wary of the lack of GMS therefore they are turning to companies they consider more reliable.<\/p>\n

According to the report, most key regions increased in terms of total shipments, with only Europe remaining stable.<\/p>\n
