Η Samsung display will provide 80 million panels for all models in the series iPhone 14, ET News reports, citing industry executives familiar with Apple and Samsung Display's plans. According to the same source, mass production and delivery of the panels is expected to begin sometime in the third quarter of the year.

We recall that the expected iPhone 14 models are four - two Pro and two regular. And there will be two 6.1″ and two 6.7″ versions, the OLED panels of which will be provided by Samsung Display. Meanwhile, it is rumored that, of these, 38.17 million are reserved for the base model and the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

The series will use LTPS-TFT-based OLED panels and LTPO-TFT-based OLED panels, but we don't know which is intended for which models. Still, it's rumored that Apple is expected to use BOE OLED panels for the upcoming series as well, after evaluating them this week.
