Approximately 220 million units iPhone plans to produce the Apple in 2022, a target unchanged from last year, despite supply chain difficulties and the expected high demand for the new range this autumn.

According to Bloomberg, Apple reportedly told its suppliers that it still wants to make up to 220 million iPhone units this year. This target is lower than what analysts were expecting, who were estimating 240 million units due to the upcoming iPhone 14 models. The difficult start to the year forced production estimates to be lowered.

To say that orders for many products, including the company's most recent Mac, have been delayed several weeks, if not months, due to supply chain problems caused by the lockdown and restrictions on COVID-19.
