Although for the time being the possibility of adding the two documents has not been activated, which will take place tomorrow with the order of the VAT number, we can already get a first taste (screenshots) of the environment and the possibilities of the application. The addition of the documents can be done in the classic way of logging into gov.gr either through TaxisNet or ebanking codes, while alternatively the possibility of scanning is provided.
As explained, the new digital identity cards and driving license are digital documents issued through gov.gr and are fully equivalent to paper documents, for any legal use within the Greek territory without being used as international travel documents. For the verification of the data the user will have to select the "View QR code" where a third party application will be used to approve or reject the document.
The data displayed and stored in digital format (on only 1 device per natural person) are:

- The expiry date of the driving licence
- The tax registration number (A.F.M.)
- The vehicle category code
- The date of issue of the vehicle category

At the same time it seems that it will be possible to add the two documents to Google Wallet and Apple Pay in the digital wallets of Android and iPhone respectively. The official launch of gov.gr Wallet will take place tomorrow at a press conference scheduled for 6.00pm.
